Matilda’s Portfolio

As seen in my Portfolio, I love expressive and bright colors. I use color to highlight the animals and objects in life we take for granted. My main artistic motivation is finding beauty in the mundane and in my lowest moments. Because of this, expression, emotion, and feeling are what come most naturally to my work.

The majority of my work is created digitally, but I do not shy away from traditional mediums. After over a decade of being self-taught, I have recently decided to return to the basics and hone my foundation skills to perfection. Accordingly, the bottom two images in this portfolio are exercises in techniques and medium.

My portfolio is constantly growing, so expect this page to change. Also, comic pages and spreads are currently in the works and I will be adding them to the gallery soon.
